The Rules of the Network.

1. Introduction

Welcome to the QT FM Studios Network. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our websites, web players, digital audio streams, and commercial advertising services. By accessing our services or submitting a commercial enquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

QT FM Studios operates as a sole trader within the United Kingdom.

2. Listener Terms & Platform Use

Personal Use Only

Our digital audio streams and web content are provided for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not rip, record, re-broadcast, syndicate, or commercially exploit our audio streams or metadata (including track info scraping) without explicit written permission.

Public Broadcasts (PPL / PRS)

If you intend to play our radio stations in a commercial or public premises (e.g., a shop, salon, or office), you acknowledge that QT FM Studios is not responsible for your local music licensing. You must ensure you hold the correct public performance licences from PPL and PRS for Music in the UK.

User Conduct

When interacting with our studio via contact forms, you agree not to submit content that is defamatory, abusive, obscene, threatening, or intended to disrupt our servers (e.g., spam, malicious code).

3. B2B Advertising Terms

For businesses seeking to advertise across the QT FM Studios Network, the following terms apply:

3.1 Enquiries vs. Contracts

Submitting an enquiry via our "Sales" or "Advertising" pages does not constitute a legally binding contract for broadcast. A contract is only formed once a final broadcast schedule has been agreed upon and an invoice has been issued and paid.

3.2 Content Standards & Ofcom Compliance

QT FM Studios reserves the absolute right to refuse, edit, or remove any advertising audio or script that we deem inappropriate, offensive, misleading, or in violation of UK broadcasting standards. Advertisers are solely responsible for ensuring their claims are factual and legal.

3.3 Clearances & Rights

If you supply your own pre-recorded audio advert (MP3), you warrant that you own or have cleared all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions (including voiceover and backing track rights) for it to be broadcast. You agree to indemnify QT FM Studios against any copyright claims arising from your supplied audio.

3.4 Cancellations

Advertising campaigns may be cancelled with 14 days' written notice prior to the broadcast start date. Once a campaign has commenced broadcasting, or if bespoke audio production has already been completed by our team, refunds are strictly at the discretion of management.

4. Payments & Invoicing

• No On-Site Payments: We do not process direct payments, credit cards, or transactions through our website forms.
• Invoicing: All advertising agreements will be billed via a formal invoice sent directly to the client's email.
• Payment Methods: We accept payments via BACS (Bank Transfer) or PayPal, as specified on your invoice.
• Pre-Payment Required: All advertising campaigns must be paid in full prior to the first scheduled broadcast date. We will not air unpaid commercial material.

5. Intellectual Property

All brand content, including logos, website design, text, and original audio branding (sweepers/jingles), is the exclusive property of QT FM Studios and is protected by UK copyright law.

The commercial musical works broadcasted on our stations are licensed for public performance through the appropriate UK licensing bodies via our stream hosting providers. We do not claim ownership of the individual commercial music tracks played on our network.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our streaming services and website content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for 100% continuous uptime, we do not guarantee that our audio streams will be uninterrupted or error-free due to the nature of internet streaming.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QT FM Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your access to, or inability to access, our web services or broadcast network.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these commercial or listener terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
